Dear Diary,

I am sitting here in my room....waterfall music and crickets chirping by my window. Candles are lit to sooth my being. I lie here in my queen size bed, doing nothing in particular except thinking. Thinking about what a creep ray Conway is. He's my best friends stepfather..he is such a creep. He actually makes my daddy look like a great father. Today we went for a walk in the park and met up with some friends from school. Jagger Cates and his little brother Stone, Robin Scorpio, the little girl down the street, Joe Scanlon, and Keesha Ward. Karen seemed awfully quiet. She was never quiet..she wasn't a very shy person. Named 7th grade Class Favorite, most Honored Student, Junior High Cheerleading Captain. She really had nothing to be quiet about. I really didn't want to push the issue. Later tonight, she told me about Ray coming home. I'd ask her to stay with me..yea right. Like daddy would go for that. Maybe one or two nights, but not the whole summer that Ray would be home..and be molesting her. He was Rhonda's, her mom's, on again off again fiancee and it pissed Karen off tremenously. Also, I happen to be in love with Jagger Cates..who will have nothing to do with me, only when Karen's around. Karen tried to ignore him for my benifit, but he just keeps flirting and flirting. He should just realize that Karen and Joe are going out. And if you dare saying going where, I will throw you out. You older people need to realize that teens use the expression going out as in girlfriend and boyfriend. We never really go anywhere..except to the movies where we meet up at. Even the we have a bunch of our girlfriends around because we are too chicken to go by ourselves. On top of all that, I got my period. Karen and Keesha want me to go swimming tomorrow but I can't, bummer. I don't use tampons. I mean think about it. I don't believe in pre-marrital sex, if sex at all and you want me to stick that thing up me..I don't think so. It's bad enough wearing these bulky pads. Damn Eve for biting that apple. I have to go, till tomorrow, Luv Bren.
